About Us | Qoriquna Alpaca Atelier
THE QORIQUNA STORY
Founded in Cusco, Peru, in the heart of the Andes, Qoriquna was born where some of the world’s finest alpaca fibers and ancestral textile traditions originate.
Today, the brand is based in New Jersey, USA, where each collection is thoughtfully designed while remaining deeply connected to its roots. Our pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans in the Andes, in regions such as Cusco, Ayacucho, and San Pedro de Cajas, using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
We work in small batches, respecting the natural rhythm of craftsmanship, the surrounding ecosystems, and the use of pure, natural fibers. Every piece is created with care, intention, and a commitment to ethical production and sustainability.
Qoriquna is a woman-founded atelier that bridges heritage and contemporary quiet luxury, creating timeless alpaca pieces meant to be worn, cherished, and kept.
Luxury with roots.
Warmth with meaning.
OUR CRAFT & ETHICAL PRINCIPLES
We work with artisan partners across the Peruvian Andes to create small-batch pieces with respect for people, place, and materials.
CREATING OPPORTUNITY THROUGH CRAFTSMANSHIP
We collaborate with independent makers and artisan families, supporting stable work and fair, transparent partnerships whenever possible.
SMALL BATCHES, MADE WITH INTENTION
We produce in limited quantities to reduce waste and to protect the integrity of each handmade process.
NATURAL FIBERS, RESPONSIBLE CHOICES
We prioritize natural alpaca fibers and thoughtful sourcing. Because these are natural materials, each piece has its own character.
RESPECT FOR TRADITION AND SKILL
Our work is rooted in heritage techniques, elevated through careful design and quality standards for modern life.
